Check out our pictures in this blog for great solutions to help keep your dog warm and protected thi

One of the best parts of living in the beautiful East Kootenays is spending tons of time outdoors! The winter is no exception, and of course we want to be out there exploring with our furbabes by our side! The deep snow can be a challenge for them though. We all want them to stay warm, dry and keep their paws free of snowballs, ice and salt! We have some great solutions for this.

1) Underalls:

These things are genius!! Mr Wilson is wearing them in the picture above. They help protect your dog around their arms and underbelly, so they aren't covered in snowballs!! We all know the struggle with having them covered in snowballs, and the mess they leave when we get home after a long walk! You can put a sweater under them, or a jacket over top! Add some boots, and even the smallest dog is ready for hours of outdoor fun in the snow, as they stay totally dry!

2) Coats:

We have a wide variety of coats and sweaters for all sizes of dogs, from 5lbs to 150lbs! In the picture above, Mr Wilson is modelling a 'Cabin Sweater' from RC Pet Products, Ruby is sporting a waterproof, fleece lined Venture Jacket in Red and Eddie has on a Reversible Skyline Puffy Jacket (Baby Blue on one side and Peach on the other) , also from RC Pet Products.

3) Boots:

We have a few options for the feet. Our favorite are the PAWZ brand you see Ruby wearing above. These are tried, tested and true as we've personally used these for years! They look like balloons, and the best part is, they don't fall off!!!! They are easy to put on, and come in packs of 12! They keep the feet dry and help protect against ice, snow and salt. We do also have some options for more rugged booties as well :)

Pop in with your furbabe anytime, and feel free to try on some coats or booties. Pets are of course always welcome!

Stay warm out there!
